Reproduction & Breeding Services

Galloping Lane Farm offers comprehensive, hands-on reproduction services in a calm, well-managed farm setting. Our dedicated reproduction shed is equipped with a stock, allowing for safe, efficient handling of mares during breeding and veterinary procedures.

We have experience managing both fresh-cooled and frozen semen breedings and work closely with trusted local veterinarians to support each mare’s individual reproductive needs. Our goal is to provide attentive, thoughtful care while maximizing the chances of a successful breeding.

Semen Storage & Shipping

We offer on-site frozen semen storage for clients and stallion owners. Stored semen can be accessed as needed for breedings at the farm or shipped to outside facilities upon request. Careful handling, accurate record keeping, and coordination with veterinarians and shipping services ensure semen is managed properly at every step.

Broodmare Management

Broodmares are cared for with close attention to nutrition, handling, and overall condition throughout the breeding season. When space allows, mares may remain on the farm for reproductive management, including frequent veterinary checks—up to every six hours when needed—to ensure optimal timing and oversight.

Each mare is managed individually, with schedules and care plans tailored to her reproductive history and current needs.

Foaling Services

Galloping Lane Farm offers foaling-out services for owners who want experienced, attentive oversight during this critical time. Mares are monitored closely as they approach foaling, with an emphasis on early detection, preparedness, and a quiet, low-stress environment.

We work in partnership with local veterinarians and provide around-the-clock observation during foaling periods to support both mare and foal through a safe delivery and early bonding.

A Thoughtful, Experienced Approach
Our reproduction and foaling services are rooted in experience, careful observation, and respect for both horse and owner. Whether supporting a single breeding or managing a mare through foaling, we prioritize communication, transparency, and individualized care.
